Accessibility Statement
The Friends of the Hilton Head Island Library wants everyone to feel welcome and able to use our website.
Our Goal
We work hard to make our web pages easy to use for all people. We try to follow the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, Level AA rules. These rules explain how to make web content friendly for people with physical, sensory, or cognitive needs.
How We Help
We test our site often to fix problems. We design our pages so people using screen readers, zoom tools, and keyboard-only navigation can move through the site easily.
Known Limits
Even though we try our best, some parts of our site may not be fully accessible yet:
  • We are working hard to update alt text for all images and updating any downloadable documents.
If you find a problem that is not listed here, please tell us.
Let Us Hear From You
If you have trouble using any part of our site, or need help getting content in a different format, please reach out to us at marketing@friendshhlibrary.org.
We will do our best to reply within [Number] business days and give you the help or information you need.
