The Ritter and Moorehead 1930s Expedition to Beaufort

Come to the library on Saturday, March 14th from 2:00 to 3:00 PM to listen to John Fisher, a Registered Professional Archaeologist discuss the Ritter and Moorehead Expedition - an attempt to map and excavate shell rings and midden sites in the lowcountry.

John Fisher is currently the Curator of Archaeology for the Charleston Museum and serves as the director of the Lost Fort of Castle Pinckney Project, alongside Giles Dawkes of UCL, and at the Saint James Parish Chuch in Goose Creek, SC.
